How Our Fundraising Works
Unfortunately it is illegal for minors (Anyone under 18 y/o) to be responsible for a fundraiser. So we will not be doing our own fundraising but we will be promoting fundraising campaigns others are doing for cadets on local, provincial/state, national, or international levels. We are allowed to contact the leagues and representatives of cadet corps, squadrons, or battalions etc. and assist and promote the fundraising campaign but cannot be responsible for it.
Cadets United and Fundraising
Cadets United is dedicated to making the national cadet community a better place for everyone. We want to help improve the local cadet experience and we want to give corps, squadrons, battalions etc. opportunities they may not have been able to have in the past. When we do fundraising for a corps, squadron, battalion etc. 100% of the money made goes towards the people we fundraise and we try our best to get as much money donated as possible. Sometimes a corps, squadron, battalion etc. will have a broken piece of equipment or equipment that needs to be replaced but do not have the money to replace it and we want to be able to help them in getting the funds they need (Through a fundraising campaign).
We do everything we can to promote the campaigns and often will donate our own money to the cause but the fundraising cannot succeed without the public support (YOU GUYS!). So when we post a fundraising campaign we ask that you donate just one dollar. We understand lots of people have to pay bills etc. but one dollar is not a lot and it can do a lot.
